Athletic Performance

What is preventing you from achieving optimal performance? How can you continue to improve and remain injury free? As athletes, these are questions we should be asking ourselves. As humans there is a natural tendency to migrate towards our strengths and avoid our weaknesses. Often times, it is these weaknesses that are limiting our abilities. A chain is only as strong as its weakest link. The human body can be thought of as a kinetic chain. "Energy leaks" can make movements less efficient, limit our performance and potentially lead to injury.

Performance training is based on the athlete's needs

At Active Body Studio, the initial assessment is viewed as the most important part of the workout program. The information gathered during the assessment is used to to determine your individual strengths and weaknesses. This information is used to design a program that will both challenge the most competitive of athletes and, more importantly, keep you injury free so you may continue to pursue whatever your althletic challenges may be.
